"I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but the eye doctor did not provide me the care that I needed for my Son. Dr. Chow saw my son, and as he entered the room I could tell from that moment that it wasn't a welcoming environment as it was pleasant when we arrived and checked in. The doctor was running late and rushed the exam. He wasn’t professional about the explanation of my son’s prescription when I asked multiple questions. He seemed stressed from the moment we saw him, and it made my son as well as myself as a parent uneasy. It was my first time going to a private eye doctor, and the care that was provided was worse than going to Costco or Walmart. I would not recommend this office for a simple exam for glasses. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the doctor needs to learn to take his time and be professional. The reason going to a private office for my son was crucial, and all we received was a fast paced exam with no professionalism. We will not be coming back as well as my company colleagues since we just got a new vision insurance company through V S P."
"I've written about Branham Family Eye Care in the past as I've always been very well cared for by the doctors and the eye glass/contact staff. Today I want to say special thanks to Evie. A few weeks ago I brought in a pair of my glasses and talked to Evie. I told her that I had them stored in the console of my truck and after spending some days in the hot 100+ temp I put them on and everything was foggy. Once they cooled off they were almost back to normal but I could see a halo effect if I looked a a light in an otherwise dark room. She confirmed that I had another pair or would be fine with her sending them back in which I did. She was able to warranty the lenses and I got them back in just under three weeks. What really impressed me though was when she called and told me I could come pick them up. With COVID, they have to take special precautions and normally when you pick up lenses they request you make and appointment if you want to try them on or want to work with them. I figured I didn't need that since these were just replacement lenses but when I got there Evie said "you have prisms in these so I just want to make sure that they are right for you". She came outside and asked me to try them on, she checked them out and made sure the transitions worked and that my vision was as expected. This is the type of service one dreams of getting. Honestly, when I heard that Tina was leaving I was worried that getting good support for glasses and sunglasses would go downhill. Thankfully Dr. Chow found Evie and she is wonderful. I today's ultra fast paced society with the added stress of the COVID restrictions it's amazing to find someone who really cares about their customers and treats them this well. Thanks Evie, I really appreciate you going the extra mile and taking care of me. It was certainly unexpected but it made my day. Dr. Chow, please make sure you figure out how to keep her there long term. She's the type of person you want working with your customers."
"Their people are all very friendly and helpful, and the eye exam was very thorough. After I selected and ordered the glasses. Unfortunately, that is when the trouble began. I went at the beginning of the summer and it is September and I still don't have glasses. They are transitional trifocals that came back with the wrong ratios of each range the first time (my old glasses were perfect, so they should have just copied the ratios), we did a redo, and this time the lab did not do what we ordered, so I asked since it was the second redo, that they put a rush on it, and I am still waiting and it has been weeks!! I should have had glasses over 2 months ago - fortunately I still have my old pair that are OK for the most part. Follow-up: When the manager found out about the the 2 redos, she called and apologized and asked if I would come back to double check to make sure everything was right, and when I got there, they took me right in and 30 minutes later, we confirmed everything correct and sent in the reorder. The lab finally came back with the glasses 2-3 weeks later, and I am very happy with my glasses! Great place, again super helpful and friendly, but the lab they use does take a lot of time (even when they mess up). Time to start looking for a new lab that understands customer service."
"The office staff was very friendly and helpful, never pressured me to buy anything, and made me feel very comfortable. Doctor Jessica Clark was amazing. She explained everything she was doing, as well as what she was seeing. I've been to multiple eye doctors over the past 20 years trying to find someone I felt was knowledgeable and trustworthy, but have had no luck until now. Dr. Clark was the first doctor who could explain my symptoms and provide any helpful suggestions. I would highly recommend Branham Family Eye Care to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and informed eye care team."
