"Please understand that this review was made without me following up with the doctor, and therefore some of my perception may be incorrect. That said, not all of it required a follow-up to fairly reflect upon it. My experience with Jennifer Birch is as follows: She returned my call fairly promptly which was nice. However, she initially could not hear me on the phone. The tone she took when she told me she could not hear me was incredibly rude and abrasive. I apologized and moved out of the room, but she initially still had trouble understanding the name of the doctor who had referred me. But again, instead of saying as much politely, she was abrasive and rude. ("Dr. Smith recommended me." "Dr. Sith???? Tith???? I can't understand you.") So again I apologized and I stated the name more clearly. Once she understood who I was talking about, I went on to explain what I was looking for with the referral (I'm just looking for someone who can help manage and adjust my medication etc) and after my explanation, she said "ok." And after an uncomfortable pause of silence where she should have been responding to me but wasn't, the call was disconnected entirely. I assume she hung up, due to her attitude, but I cannot prove that she hung up so please understand that when reading this review. I also did not contact her to find out what had happened, as her abrasive tone and nature caused me too much anxiety to do so. She also never called back to see if anything had happened, furthering my belief that it was intentional."
