"The office told me I had skin cancer and that they wanted to do multiple surgeries but that he would bill my insurance to reflect that I did not have skin cancer in order to save me money I found this odd, I did not do the second surgery and transferred to a new dermatologist the new dermatologist did not agree that I had skin cancer Lamont's office would not give me any records or lab results when I requested this info to bring to my new doctor and gave me hard time first saying that they could not release my records to me because I didn't not sign a release form so I signed the form again then they said they couldn't give me my records because no one has heard from the doctor then they finally just gave me a paper saying they removed a non canerous lesion, the surgery was traumatic because inches of tissue was taken off my arm, i am not sure what's going on here at this office , the staff and doctor were nice Enough but not sure if he is running some kind of insurance fraud would ask for a seond opinion"

"I can not agree with the other reviews listed. My experience with Dr Hornbeck was negative. He did not offer information about what my numerous different types of lesions were as he was examining them. He was not willing to answer questions about what the lesions were. In fact he made a point of saying that "no one has ever asked me these questions before". He responded sarcastically when I expressed concern about whether his removal of 2 lesions from my face would leave noticeable scars. The nurse's English was very poor. I could barely communicate with her to discuss the potential costs of treatment. She was very curt and abrupt. I recently started treatment with a different dermatologist whose courtesy, professionalism and willingness to explain everything, prompted me to give an honest review of Dr. Hornbeck."

"The office is in a nice, easily accessible, and the staff is friendly. The doctor (L. Hornbeck)actually cares about his paitents. So much so that he was able to diagnose a viral bug that has zero to do with skin. He reminds me of one of those old "hard to find anymore" doctors. The ones that actually give a darn about the person, not just the payment that's walking thru the door. I would recommend over and again. Please don't retire Dr. L. Hornbeck. The community needs you."

"Dr. Hornbeck is caring, knowledge, and will do his best to help you. He listens to your concerns and cares about the wellbeing of his patients. It maybe a while before you can get an appointment but he is worth the waiting."

"I started seeing Dr. Hornbeck in 2015 and he is the first dermatologist to successfully eliminate my skin cancers. I am a transplant patient and because of the immune suppression drugs I must take I get many cancers which Dr. Hornbeck has aggressively managed.
