"Dr. AItali had one of the best bedside manners I've ever experienced. Really great personality, very kind etc. However, without informed consent, he trimmed a nail spur on my other foot that was not causing any major issues very short, which caused it to grow back in a way that was causing me pain. I returned to remove the nail, and was given conflicting information by the nurse and the doctor, but in the end they injected my toe with a lot of anesthetic and were not able to anesthetize it. Very painful, and for nothing. Then, this nail grew back, again, and this time shredded my toe and became infected for which I had to get antibiotics. At this point, I did not trust to return to this podiatrist, went to a clinic in woodland, and had the nail removed, without any incident within 30 minutes. No issue with anesthetizing the nail, very quick and relatively clean removal of the nail spur, etc. But all of this would have been unnecessary had Dr. Aitali not trimmed the nail short without consent in the first place."
