"It's out of character for me to leave a negative review, but I hope to save someone else's time and energy. I spent months looking for a new PCP and appreciated Sheri Cameron's bio. During the first appointment, she appeared impatient, was in the office less than 10 minutes with me, and dismissed questions with a condescending tone. I had to return due to an injury, and was told multiple times by staff and Sheri that she didn't have time. She did a 2 minute examination, then slammed the door without giving answers. The receptionist told me where to go for a walk-in x-ray. Since staff didn't clearly communicate, I was unable to receive the exam without Sheri's referral. I paid to get to the Perlman Clinic's Kensington office, then to the x-ray, and to work. Sheri sent 5 words about my results. Maybe she has compassion fatigue and is going through something awful? I understand life is tough, but please don't project on your patients. Avoid stress by finding a doctor at a clinic that isn't negligent and unprofessional."
"I just had a first-time consultation with Shari Cameron, M.D. at the North Park office and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. I had a few general health questions that I wanted to discuss as it was my first time visiting. One of them was an earache. After maybe 5 minutes of discussion - and discussion is really being generous, it was more of her shortly answering, dismissing, or postponing each topic for the "next visit to establish general care" which is what I thought I was there to do - she examined my ears, and I could feel her hands shaking. I am not sure if she was angry, anxious, or has an essential tremor. I tried to put it out my mind and focus on having a productive visit. She called in a prescription for ear drops. Finally, I had the audacity to tell her that I thought it inefficient to have two visits as opposed to one. Her response with a trembling voice: "if you don't like it, go somewhere else" and without another word she stood up and left the room."
