Patients are seen through the lens of dollar signs. Even if you have a competent and caring doctor, they are not allowed to spend any time with you to discuss your condition. That is left to the medical assistant. Heaven help you if you need to ask a question after the doctor has jogged to the next office. Forget about getting an appointment in the near term. My sister in Canada typically waits one week for an appointment. You will wait almost 2 months to get in here. Ximed supposedly stands for "excellence in medicine" but what it really stands for is excellence in fee collections."
