"We went to Dr Ramos for both of my Children, she took the time to explain everything to us in detail and we got the most answers that we have in a long time on our search for why one was getting random rashes. The office can be hard to reach but like many offices around they are understaffed and trying their best."

"Initially absent receptionist eventually showed up and was discourteous. The entire check-in process felt unorganized and waiting area was so loud that multiple people left to wait outside. Dr repeatedly interrupted me, did not let me speak, and despite their Doctor of osteopathic title, would not look at me as a whole person, just individual symptoms that “they don’t have tests for”. Appointment felt rushed and no help was given. 0/10."

"I left 3 voicemails over 3 days requesting an appointment; no response. So I drove to the SLO office to make the appointment, where the front-desk occupant belligerently informed me she was "the only one there." Since the phone line served all 3 locations and I'd opted to call each in turn, repeatedly hoping someone would pick up, I guess she covered them all? I asked politely if they had enough staff to process my paperwork - a recurrent problem at my other SLO doctor's office, hence the question - and she got even angrier. Then I left voicemails both last week and this week for the practice manager (to ask if they have enough staff to deal with my insurance company for one prescription requiring advanced authorization) and the manager never called back either. So I canceled my appointment...actually, I couldn't reach anyone to cancel, but left cancelation messages on both the main line AND on the manager's direct line. Never got any response. Don't bother trying this practice - they obviously couldn't care less about patients. Update: Several weeks later, 30 minutes after the start of my canceled appt, a human finally called wanting to know why I hadn't shown up. I asked if anyone got my many messages, and she knew nothing about it. I wish Google Maps allowed you to assign negative stars."
