"I like Dr Nimisha Shah, but her office staff is unbearable. I've been trying to make payment for 6 months on an office visit. Twice, checks sent to correct address and billing team can't find them. Not sure what to do except hand deliver and take a picture of it getting into their hands. I also had to go to ER this year. Office staff 1) was an obstacle in allowing me to speak with the doctor, and only offered an appointment end of next day. As this wasn't acceptable, I called a tele-doc who told me to go to the ER right then. 2) For ER follow up visit with Dr. Shah, I called to see if they had the hospital records. No, they didn't. It's standard practice for the office staff to get them from hospital. Rather, the staff told me I had to call the hospital and get them "because they didn't know the name of the doctor that had seen me". This was flat out ignorance. I tried calling the hospital who said that for a patient to request, it would take 1-2 weeks to get the records. The hospital advised the doctor can contact them and request stat, and no, they did not need ER doctor names. Due to this experience, I'm done with this practice."

"Nimisha Shah was my primary care physician until she…. Fired me…. Yes, I dared to rise the question why every single referral was such a thorny way years into the process until I received a termination letter from dr. Shah. No need to improve anything, just cut off unruly ballast that does not understand why the same process for 15th time is generating the same surprises as on the day one. Congratulations. “Excellent “ customer service and self awareness."

"I have truly enjoyed this office until 3 years ago (pre covid). I paid part of my past due bill and was given an appointment to see the doctor again. While I am sitting in the lobby an employee comes out and tells me (IN FRONT OF OTHER PATIENTS) that they want another payment before they will see me. Talk about embarrassing. I got up and left."

"I’ve been a patient for a couple of years. Nimisha is a lovely person, but her office staff is completely disorganized. I was seen in January. I’m January, the front desk told me they couldn’t accept my blue cross/blue shield. I told her I had dual insurance and I sent it via email. I got another bill, I again, sent dual insurance cards. Today, I arrived for an appointment and the girl couldn’t get into her computer. Then, she told me they don’t bill more than one insurance company. She told me I should talk to the doctor about it and that she would call the billing company. I’m the meantime, rather than FIX the billing issue, she asked to collect a payment from me in exchange to be seen by Minisha. I wouldn’t mind paying, but I do mind when the service is so sub-standard that the office staff is too lazy to just do their job. I have dual insurance, what isn’t covered by one should be covered by the other. I told the front desk that I no longer felt they were a good fit for me. She replied that it was my choice. Indeed, it is my choice and it’s also my right to share the interaction so others may be aware of the smart mouthed staff and disorganization at Dr Minisha Shah’s practice."

"Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable, she is attentive, readily calls back, listens to my concerns and acts appropriately, Is pleasant. Staff is respectful. office is clean and overall a nice place to visit."
