"You are rollin into Palm Springs from a long drive from the Bay area. You need food. You need... a Hadleys vegan date milkshake. I know a milkshake is a drink, but when you go here, they have sandwhiches, hotdogs, burgers, etc... when you need that drink, don't get a soda, splurge, get the date shake. I went vegan, no chocolate drizzle. Also, bathrooms are pretty clean and they have a plethora of snacks and bottled drinks for the road if you are heading out of town. But, if you read this far, fo sho get the date shake. It's the real deal!"

"Ymmmm! THAT date shake was memorable! Flavorful & sweet, the taste lingers. I did my Christmas shopping here — everything DATES, dried fruits & nuts that you can imagine. A wonderful rest stop on a long road with small cafe, upscale gourmet food/gift shop area, & clean restrooms. Perfect!"

"I was in Date heaven! I even tried the delicious Date Shake. I'll have to try more of the food from the deli next time. We had a short visit and needed to get back on the road. We left with delicious Date bread, Date bars, date cookies and of course the star, the Date shake. We will definitely be back sooner than later."
