"I really want to give this place 5 stars but I just can’t because I don’t think the pies are “great”. I absolutely love the staff and the owner. Everyone is so nice and the owner explained why she started making special Pies and they’re an amazing family to support. The pies are good but not great and that’s why it’s 4 stars not 5. The pecan bourbon pie we had was just ok- too much molasses it tasted like. The gluten free banana cream pie crust was AMAZING but the actually banana/cream part was not good. The berry pie we got was again nothing special. I know organic ingredients are more expensive and I’m all about supporting amazing people like this but 2 small pies and 2 large pies should not be $100 unless they blow my socks off. The curry pot pie we got a few weeks back was probably our favorite thing. Support this place it’s awesome overall but I would pick a regular pie moving forward and not a gluten free one bc those are just ok."

"This is a small cute, home feel place. About 3 tables total inside and out to sit, most are online orders to go or walk in. They have fresh, frozen and order ahead pies. We tried the bourbon pecan ( not recommended no flavor, not sweet ), Caramel apple pie ( very sweet, good flavor) and key lime pie ( great flavor almost tasted like we got it from Key west, flordia). They offer vegan, gluten free etc which I guess is why they charge excessive amount for their products. For a 5 inch pie which is what we got was $15 (I guess we got it cheaper than listed price at $17) maybe because we bought 3, I don't know. Note we bought regular pies not vegan or gluten free. I'd suggest they lower pies if they want repeat customers, as for me tried it but won't be back due to prices. I would be willing to pay $6 for a 5 inch personal size pie but definitely not $15 to $17"

"A couple of weeks ago I picked up a chicken pot pie from Love, Dreams and pies at the Carlsbad Farmers market and I'm so glad that I did. The herbed crust was perfect! The cubed vegetables and plentiful pieces of chicken beautifully seasoned. This was the best pot pie I have ever tasted. I called them, had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and ordered 3 more to pick up on Wednesday. Treat yourself, no hesitation needed."

"I stopped by on May 19th with my friend. Terry was welcoming and friendly. She immediately offered us a sample of the Curry Chicken Pot Pie. My friend and I really enjoyed the flavor and freshness. I looked at the small 5" Pies in the cooler and decided on the Salted Caramel Apple Pie. I was considering also the Sweet Dark Cherry, but I will try it next time. I asked Terry if I could keep the menu sheet and she said yes. As a baker and business owner myself in Lake Elsinore, I do not mind at all the pricing because it takes a lot to run a business and fresh ingredients are not cheap at all. Consumers forget the inflation the past couple months. I read some of the recent reviews and is unfortunate to see how consumers do not appreciate. I plan to go back and try more flavors and pies from this business. I got a nice experience, and I am looking forward to the expansion that will create a sit in experience. I will be highlighting my menu sheet, the pies I buy from time to time. Keep up the Love, Dreams & Pie because I know you and your family are pursuing a dream and providing deliciousness to communities and you putting the work to attend multiple events."
