"Well I had random encounter with Jerry Garcia from the Grateful Dead at this 7/11 about a month before he died in 1995. He actually came up to me and talked a little bit...."

"Rude employee rung me up. Kept mumbling and talking to me in different languages despite me clearly (and persistently) answering him in English. At one point he started arguing with me when using the 7-eleven app. I had tried entering my phone number and the machine froze. So I offered the bar code to scan and he remarked "why did you start entering your phone number if you had that for me to scan?" Explained to him that HIS machine froze and he just shook his head at me, then went back to mubling in another language."

"I just attempted to buy several items at 5:30AM from a clerk called Ravit. He was not wearing a mask, was coughing all over everything, was obviously high on drugs, and tried to charge me double ($60 for $30 of items). This was knowing from the glint in his eye. He also yelled at me for attempting to insert my card before he had finished ringing things up. The owner of this 7-11 has a real problem on his hands with this employee. I buy things from this location regularly and this is the first time I have had this type of experience."

"They got what you need and always seem to have their slurpee machine in good working order. Which is the most important feature in a 7-Eleven to me. But, oddly the guys working there are never friendly to me. I've seen them be quite pleasant to others, but I get the 1 word answers. Not sure what I did. Oh well, at least it's conveniently located."
