Reviews of CVS
"We used to be at Rite Aid, but they closed and we had to go to CVS for our vaccinations. The young man was nice enough, but the tray he was working off of was filthy. It did not make me feel safe about how hygienic my needle and or shots were going to be. Also, I’m not sure if he was really a trained person because the shots were very long and arduous. Probably go to CVS at Vons up an arrow Drive for future appointments. Very unnerving!"
"Terrible pharmacy experience. The line had about 20 people in it, finally made it to the front for them to tell me its not ready yet and they will call my name over the speaker when it's ready. 15 minutes go by and finally hear my name and had to stand in an even longer line to get back to the window for my prescription. Just to get there and for them to tell me that my insurance is not on file and to add my insurance. I got my insurance added and they made me go to the back of the line AGAIN so they can "Fill it". Would not recommend."
"I've been coming here about 2x a month for four or five years now. My family is picking up 10+ prescriptions a month these days. This pharmacy, they're one of the good ones. I'd recommend them. This pharmacy has been great whenever I needed their help. They're reliable and fast, especially during peak hours. Any time you look behind the counter, everyone's bustling and working, making calls, typing away. I dig the pharmacists and the staff, too, they're cool people. I'm not stoked about CVS as a corporate entity (in fact, I despise them on that level) but this store has been dialed in for the last few years. Inevitably, there are complications that come up when you're getting prescriptions filled, no matter which pharmacy you go to: your insurance is being insane, the doctor forgot to dot an "i" or cross a "t" somewhere, the computer system crashed, etc.. There's just so much that can potentially go wrong. It can be a pain. You're going to hit a snag some percentage of the time, no matter which pharmacy you go to. That's life. If you're respectful and realistic, in my experience the folks here will do a lot to figure out why your prescription has a problem, then they'll iron out the issues to get it filled. If you're not respectful (and I've seen a lot of disrespect, just as a bystander, standing in line), well... they will still help you anyway. But there won't be a lot of good feelings going around when they do it. And who wants that?"
"Ever since CVS took over Long's, the customer service has been in a downward spiral. One cashier, ZERO floor employees. The prices increased and customer service was flushed. I guess their loyal employees were "downsized" which translates to corporate greed!"
"I have always been a loyal CVS customer for every need for me and my children. I will never set foot in another one again after the experience I had on Sunday, March 26th. Google said it closed at 11 pm, I arrived at the Friars Rd location, along with a few other people at 10:20 pm, to find the doors locked. When we tried talking to the 2 employees inside through the glass and asking what time they closed, the "gentleman" inside (see attached photo) proceeded to yell and scream obscenities at us. Yes, I admit I lost my cool in the moment and flipped him off as I walked back to my car, but, in my opinion, it was well deserved. No, I'm not a "Karen" as he accused me of being but an exhausted single mom trying to get Tylenol for a sick kid with a fever after battling the stomach flu myself the previous 24 hours. A simple, "Sorry, Google is wrong, and we're closed." would have sufficed."
