Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Hollywood 1133 Vine Street, Los Angeles, CA 90038

"I was so impressed with this hotel!! We just got back from a 3day stay. I was actually incredibly worried about the area — I hadn’t stayed in the Hollywood area since 2010 and I was pretty apprehensive. BUT the stay ended up being absolutely amazing. The hotel staff was incredibly kind, the breakfast staff was phenomenal. I didn’t use the valet because we used uber everywhere but the valet guy always made it a point to say hello and smile. It was a super welcoming environment. The location ended up being a really great central location considering the events we needed to attend. We were able to walk to starbucks. The breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious. Housekeeping is by request so we were able to request that the second day without a problem. My only con is the shower doors are clear sliding barn door style. Not frosted or anything. So if you’re in the shower and the person you’re staying with has to pee — welp, they’re going to have to close their eyes. You can only close either the bathroom OR the closet. You can’t close both. Other than that, it was good. The elevator requires a key to go up to the floors which made me feel safer. All in all, I’d stay here again."

"The room was great and clean! And the complementary breakfast was good. But the hotel charged $44 for valet parking that's forced upon you once you arrive. The lady at the front desk who checked my husband and I in had an okay attitude and explained that if I don't pay for valet parking we have to park in the street and that "the crime rate was high and she doesn't recommend it". Personally I feel like the hotel has space for the guests to self park but is forcing us to pay $44. What a scam, and they take it out of the hold that they put on ur credit card."

"The rooms are nice. The gym is about normal, they have a cable machine without a lot of attachments and dumbbells up to 50lb. It's centrally located in Hollywood to many attractions. The surrounding area is pretty rough though. I parked on the street overnight with no issues. The parking meters go from 9am to 7pm."

"This hotel is in a great location in Hollywood. Very walkable. The king suite room offered a good amount of space to spread out in the room with 2 adults and one preteen. The breakfast selection was one of the best we've had (as far as the "free hot breakfast" amenity goes). Did not have time to use the pool or fitness center but both looked great. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I did find it inconvenient that typically when I check-in on the HH app as a Gold member, I can choose my room and get a digital key. The room was selected for me and my room preference to be on a high floor was not considered. We were given a room on the 1st floor. Instead of heading to the room on arrival, I asked if there were higher floor, king suite rooms available, and the front desk quickly reassigned our room and gave us our snack bag. This will be our go-to when visiting Hollywood."

"Wonderful hotel & updated rooms! Definitely one of the better Hampton Inns. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly. Even though the hotel is located in Hollywood, we felt safe and there is extra protection in the elevators. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The water pressure in the shower was amazing, this is an issue at most hotels, but not at this Hampton! We will definitely stay here again! The breakfast was mid, but there are lots of restaurants within walking distance! Overall, very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others."
