"Both of our stays here have been great. The rooms are super clean, modern, and well organized. The bar downstairs is lovely as is any room service (their eggs Benedict has been nailed every time). It's location works great for the events we're going to and we usually see the Netflix headquarters from our window. Valet charge is around 40 bucks but they have a great text system that makes it so seamless to have the car ready, best system I've encountered. The whole place is worth every penny, I'm sure we'll be back."

"This was my first time staying at the Godfrey during my April break. Upon arrival, check in was fairly quick, and I was given some drinks / food vouchers. The staff was friendly and helpful and attended to all my needs. The room was very spacious, and the hotel was very modern with great decor. I noticed in the hallways there was fans all over the floor; and a big blue tub of water filled inside it seems like. I wasn't sure what it was, so I thought maybe it was just for a night; but it wasn't my whole entire stay there, there was fans all over the hallway which made it a bit noisy. The staff did not mention any of this and the reason for why there was a bunch of fans in the hallways and I noticed that it wasn't on my floor but it was also on multiple floors. The pool upstairs in the rooftop was relaxing and the views was great. Overall, my stay was okay!"

However, this is Hollywood, known for its vibrant nightlife and extravagance. It wouldn't be fair to expect a family-friendly atmosphere here. Criticizing the hotel for not explicitly mentioning the nightclub is unjust – it's not their responsibility to plan your entire trip. If you have specific preferences and sensitivities, a travel agent could be of help. Similarly, if you're bringing your kids and in-laws to Hollywood, consider booking multiple rooms in any hotel or a private vacation rental. The property itself is stunning, with an ideal location. The front desk staff is remarkably friendly and helpful, and the valets are attentive and welcoming. If there's one thing to nitpick, it would be that both the restaurant staff and the rooftop bartender could be a tad more attentive. We experienced a situation where the bartender on the rooftop seemed engrossed in conversation with other patrons, neglecting us as we waited in front of her. As a result, we left without being served, which left us a bit dissatisfied. Overall, our stay at The Godfrey was enjoyable, and we're looking forward to returning on our next visit to Hollywood."
