"This was the absolute best class l've ever taken! I did the 8 week program with Matt as my instructor! It was absolutely amazing and they teach everything you need to know very well! As long as you’re a hard worker and make class your #1 priority you got it! Would recommend this EMT course to anybody who is wanting to go into the field!"
"I started BATA on Nov 14 2023, and as of today (Jan 25, 2024), I am now a certified EMT. This is entirely and completely due to the AMAZING instructors they have at BATA. The instructors: Steve Albright is absolutely amazing. I have to credit my success entirely to him. I've never been one for school, but the way he teaches it just sticks. You'll never meet another teacher whos more passionate, professional, or knowledgeable about their field. However, BATAs' success isn't just Instructor Albrights alone. Instructors Ashley, David, Shawdy, Natalyn, and Benjamin were all pivotal in mine and every students success. So, thank you guys for everything you do to help us out! The curriculum: EMT is a lot of knowledge. It definitely is hard but absolutely can be done. Especially if you attend BATA. What really helped me engrain the material into my head was our skills sundays. Getting a hands-on approach and real-time practice using the knowledge we learned in the previous day/weeks really helped. Finally, I'd like to say thank you to both Ysabel and Nicky, who were there any time that we needed questions about the class and what to do next. Ysabel did a great job scheduling my ride alongs, making sure they worked for my schedule and were close to my home. She puts in a lot of work, and it's truly appreciated. If you're looking for an EMT course to take, you absolutely can't get any better than BATA. Thank you EMT 136-AL!"
"I could not have any higher praise than I do for Bay Area Training Academy, the program, curriculum, and instructors are top-notch. In an 8 week course, I have felt so confident in my learning ability thanks to the specialized accelerated course that BATA provides. While bringing every student to above NREMT standards, they also have had an amazing opportunity for 1 on 1 learning, between the skills instructors and the personalization of the course. Instructor Albright could not have been any better, and taught all of us EMT competency and then some, adding personal experiences, field knowledge, and the special way he teaches; focusing on hands-on learning and attention grabbing lessons. I have zero regrets about my choice to take BATA, and fully recommend to anyone and everyone looking for the best EMS Academy in the area. I hope you choose Instructor Albright as well, as he goes down as #1 in my book."
"I enrolled in BATAs 8-week EMT academy with Steve as my instructor. The instructor was exceptional, providing comprehensive and engaging lessons that thoroughly prepared me for the EMT certification exam. Their expertise and dedication were evident throughout the entire duration of the program. They were always available to answer questions and provide guidance, ensuring that I had a solid understanding of the material. I am happy to report I had passed my EMT certification first try because I was so well prepared. I definitely recommended this academy when looking to further your EMS career."
"I highly recommend the 8 week EMT course. You'll give ring-down reports in the back of a moving ambulance and drag your classmates out of a ditch on a backboard. It's the best quality training you could ask for. It also happens to be a lot of fun. It is important to note that the course is a LOT of work. 20 hours of in-person class + 100-200 pages of reading + 2 exams/week. You'll also have to dedicate at least three non-class days to riding along in an ambulance. However, Instructor Albright is the best teacher I've ever had. His engaging lectures and stories make the 10 hour skill days fly by. If you're willing to put in the time the EMT class will be an extremely rewarding experience."
