"I saw there were bad reviews but I ignored them as sometimes people are just biased or rude. However my experience with lesleigh was awful. I am a new patient and I showed up for my first appointment and the doors were locked and she wasn't in. I left a message and eventually got an email back from her saying she forgot we were meeting in person and would be right there. 30 minutes after our appointment start time she arrived and tried to let me in to her office but was struggling with the keys and was locked out so she offered to do therapy with me in her car...during covid...I declined and rescheduled for Friday. My first impression was pretty bad but I figured she deserved a second chance. I showed up for our rescheduled appointment 2 days later and the same thing. No call no show and I was left waiting in the hallway. I took 2 days off work to be there. Wasted 2 hrs and paid for parking. This was so unprofessional and inconsiderate I am now looking elsewhere and am frankly quite concerned she has my personal billing info. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere."

"I found this place on psychology today listed under non-binary friendly offices. One of the first things I told the person on the phone was that I was non-binary, and they proceeded to call me sir repeatedly, even after I told them I'm not a sir. Worse, they somehow looked up my dead name (which is concerning because the only information I gave them was my preferred name and phone number), and then called me and left a voicemail using it! My caller ID is in my preferred name and if you search my phone number you do not find my dead name. In conclusion: extremely non trans/nb friendly. Do not recommend."

"I sought therapy from Dr. Franklin for about a year during a very difficult time in my life, and she was an instrumental part of my recovery. I watched the video that is being referred to by many reviews, and I feel terrible about the situation and feel compelled to share my point of view since I know her personally. In my weekly, one hour discussions with Dr. Franklin, I am absolutely certain that she is not a racist. She helps counsel prisoners to aide in their recovery. She has a latino partner and niece who she helps. She is passionate about helping homeless people. I dated a half-latino, half-black man while I was seeing her, and she was supportive and never said a negative word about him. I would like to challenge anyone to not judge Dr. Franklin solely off of this video. While I deeply feel for the man who was attempting to park in public parking, Dr. Franklin may have been having a bad day, or perhaps she had a previous bad experience with someone parking in that spot. Of course neither of those are excuses. However, based on what I know of Dr. Franklin, this video is not representative of the generous woman who is passionate about helping others, and who has made it her career to do so. Yes, it would appear that she reacted poorly. But I ask that we please show her some grace while also acknowledging that there is still work to do in our community and in the world. We all learn from our mistakes, and I'm confident that Dr. Franklin is humbly reflecting on this event. Thank you for reading, and for your consideration."

"It is illegal for a CA Licensed PhD to LIE & misrepresent her profession (she is not an Attorney or Licensed Attorney or an Immigration Attorney at all) or be rude & abusive & inhumane & bully 100% innocent random people (see video) or do or threaten to do criminal acts & PROPERTY DAMAGE to someone’s car parked on a public street (see video). Even one of these is probable grounds for PhD license revocation. What a horrible & mean & discriminatory & unethical & illegal & DISTURBED woman! Wow."
