"The worse place! Do not come here! Doctor took 2 seconds to prescribe me a medication without asking important questions about my mental health. And they were supposed to send a prescription to my pharmacy and has been 2 days already! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!"
"Dr. Jenkins was great and non judge mental groovy dude that made me feel safe and understood in his room. However the front desk office people not sure if their system of running the business but I have been fighting them for over a week to receive my paperwork so that I can receive my new prescription from my new doctor. This morning is such a gut wrenching journey. They are rude and condescending over the phone. I pray everyday for o receive my paperwork sadly I might have to drive the two hours two Long Beach(saw the Dr at Beverly Hills office which is closer to where I live) just to get a copy. No one should have to drive that much to get their own paperwork."
"Dr jenkins! He is one of the best physicians I’ve had since living in the Long Beach area. He’s intelligent smart and cares! However sometimes his staff drops the ball…it takes a well oiled and caring team to keep up with patient’s needs. Analogy: In technology if your backend (staff) doesn’t deliver what your front end (Dr Jenkins and patients) needs then that’s a failed experience. I’m still w him because of him!"
"Probably the worst experience with any doctor. I was recommended here by the LBTRC as a first time patient. With high hopes going in, I ended up more frustrated than I had been prior to seeking treatment here. They schedule appointments for a wide time window (4hours) where you literally have to make sure you aren’t in the middle of something when they call. Not only this, but sometimes they don’t even call for your scheduled appointment!! Or if they do schedule an appointment that simply just does not work and you try to reschedule, the lady who takes your message never delivers it and they call you at the original time anyways. This doctor simply does not listen to anything I’ve expressed concerns for & these appointments last 3-5 minutes on the phone… always rushed and never explains anything more than a few words even when I ask plenty of questions. They have prescribed me random medications when I have expressed to them that my therapist & I believed was not the actual issue. I retold this multiple times and still was prescribed medications for a different mental disorder. They had also not even recorded on my chart half of the stuff they had me pick up from the pharmacy, so they did not even know what they were checking up on when coming into my appointment. Overall the communication here is absolutely terrible & they spend no time on actually trying to help you. Being a first time patient, this has definitely made me not want to seek medical help in the future."
"I was court mandated to find a psychiatrist during a heated legal mess and referred here by TLBTRC. The first of many missteps on the part of this clinic was when they cancelled my telehealth appointment a day before it was scheduled and they never followed up on their promise to reschedule (even after I called to follow up) until three months later. I finally received a 30-minute phone appointment where I was prescribed a test run of antipsychotics under the suggestion that they would work better than the antidepressants I had a bad physical reaction to in the past...only on my court date did they release my records to show that I had actually been "diagnosed" with bipolar II and that I was expected to follow up on several appointments (when in reality, I had exactly one follow-up that they flaked on). In addition, they have consistently misplaced my medical records, consent to release forms, and insurance information. I have had to take time off of work and other appointments in an effort to keep these appointments that were ultimately cancelled (or ignored) at the last minute, and this gross incompetency has destroyed me in my ongoing legal battle. I will be looking into legal advice to see if I can be compensated for this misdiagnosis and malpractice, and hopefully I can find another psychiatrist to take new patients so that I may successfully meet my requirements."
