"I’ve never really had a good experience in therapy but I was hoping this would be a good fit since I was recommended through Kaiser. When I was assigned to Drake, I was scheduled an appointment, however I received a cancellation email with no prior notice. He stated that he called me prior because he does a pre- screening, however this was never communicated to me as I do not pick up calls I do not recognize. He called me and stated he felt remorseful and told me to call him in 2-3 weeks as he wanted to work with me. Today I call him and he completely forgets who I am and tells me he’s not taking any new clients. When I told him who I was, he said he’s not accepting anyone. For me this has pushed me entirely even more away from seeking counseling."
