"My son began lessons with Pat at age 12. Pat was great- weaving the essential guitar basics into lessons that included specific songs my son wanted to learn. It was never a problem getting him to practice and he looked forward to every lesson. I started lessons with Pat myself a couple years after my son started. I benefitted from the same knowledgable, gentle guidance as my son. Being a bit younger however:), my son went on to win a local guitar competition and later successfully auditioned for entry into a music degree program at NYU. Pat is really great with kids but I highly recommend him for guitar players of all ages and interests."
