"This place is iconic. Great intimate venue in the heart of downtown SLO. I remember when it was a movie theater, and am glad to see it has become a thriving concert venue. Still has the beautiful art nouveau style ceilings. There's not a bad seat or standing room area in the house. Saw Soja here and have seen them many times before in bigger venues, and they always put on a great show. They expressed their love for SLO and the people, even some of the beloved local artists and surf community that make it so special. But the Central coast is a magical place and the Fremont embodies the magic of C.C. community and beauty."

"Saw the Ismo comedy show tonight. It was a very funny show with a very funny man from Finland. Nice old movie theater atmosphere. Friendly staff and there is not a bad seat in the house. Will come again and again."

"Such a lovely and fairly intimate venue. Perfect amount of standing and seating room. As a concert lover who is getting a bit older, I've learned to appreciate good seating options. Easy entry. Only downside (for some) is there is no smoking patio so if you're a smoker and there for a song show, just a heads up."

"The venue was beautiful and they did such a great job on production/visuals. Fremont has a diverse line up of music coming in and I can't wait to go back. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is because they closed the bar an hour and a half before the show ended. And they didn't have cups for the water fountain available. Mersiv was great and I'll be back to this venue soon!"
