"My family member had been a patient for 8 years and just recently was scolded by Dr. Taylor because the office had moved and she wasn't aware of the new location. He proceeded to yell at her for not remembering he had moved. He began using his mental health knowledge and skills to shame her and call out her vulnerabilities in a mean, negative manner. He should be reprimanded for his ethical misuse of power. I do not recommend this doctor."
"I am very happy with Dr. Taylor's expertise; the only caveat is there is a lot of back and forth with the staff about whether or not they take my insurance... My insurance is listed in their list of accepted insurances and he is also on the list of my insurance's providers, but they will not give me in-network pricing. I don't mind paying out of pocket even if it costs more, but because my insurance is through work, now I'm being asked to follow up on this, so it's a bit stressful. But in regards to treatment, it's been transformational for the better and I don't think I could've found better help."
"As a follow-up, I am concerned KS may be a paid reviewer by Dr. Taylor. How can two people have such diametrically opposed experiences? You be the judge, and God bless KS, Dr. Taylor, in my opinion, almost unalived me. People wondering if they should call Dr. Taylor should ask them self if they want to take the chance on feeling WORSE than when you called ?"
"Dr. Taylor and his staff are excellent. Dr. Taylor is a thoughtful evidence-based thorough provider I recommend without hesitation. His front desk staff are timely and considerate. I’m thankful for their care."
"This was a deeply horrendous experience. I took my daughter to meet with Dr. Taylor for depression. The in person meeting was fine but because I made 2 follow up calls to his office in a 2 week period, he called and scolded me for it. He claimed they were much longer calls than they were. 1 call was 6 minutes long the first day we saw him, and the second call was 5 minutes long 2 wks later the day before my daughters second session with him was to take place. I had several questions for his staff regarding payment and things like whether or not I would see him with my daughter or not, how often we might see him, extremely benign questions but Dr. Taylor wasn’t having it. He was passive aggressive on the phone with me and I just couldn’t see returning to see him again. When I hung the phone up, I actually cried at how he and his staff treated me. My husband consoled me and I moved on from it but it’s been several weeks and I thought, I just must write a review.. here I had personally never seen an actual psychiatrist before nor had my teen daughter and all I was trying to do was get a better understanding as to how it all works. I was in a very scary, vulnerable place with the mental health of my teen daughter and this was the last thing I could ever imagine happening while doing my best to try to help her. In the meantime my daughter had to see our regular physician in order to lower the dosage as what Dr. Taylor prescribed was too high of a dose too quickly. He prescribed 150 mgs of an anti depressant for the first week and told us to move to 300 mgs week 2. My daughter had the jitters and was crying incessantly. As I said, the in person meeting on the first day went well, we actually really liked him but his staff complained to him about my 2, 5 minute calls (I have proof in my phone this was a 5 minute and a 6 minute call) and I guess he felt the need to lecture me about how he runs his practice. I will never forget this experience. I hope to never be treated that way by a doctor again. I’m sure he has many happy clients but my personal experience with him was just a nightmare."
