"This idiot kept refilling my Minocycline prescription since I kept requesting it due to it working great for my acne. I think once after plenty of refills he mentioned that I had been on it for longer than I was supposed to be but refilled it anyways. At the time I didn’t really think anything of it because it was working and if I truly wasn’t supposed to be on it surely a doctor wouldn’t fill the prescription. After about 18 months of taking it I stumbled across online that nobody should be taking this longer than 12 weeks. My heart started beating out of my chest when I began reading the possible side effects of being on this medication over 3 months let alone 18. Sure enough few months later my teeth are now stained grey and I am worrying about if I will have a ton of nasty conditions later in life (autoimmune hepatitis, polyarteritis nodosa, lupus) just to name a few. Learned the hard way that you always have to research what drugs are prescribed to you throughly even if they seem harmless because doctors like this guy just don’t put any thought into their job. If anything other teenagers are reading this please research everything you take and don’t make the same mistake as me"

"Dr. Metsch is such a great doctor. Both my children began their life seeing dr. Metsch. My son, while in middle school got a deep cut on his leg while in P.E. class. I called his office and they said come straight in. There was no waiting once there. Dr. Metsch began working on my son right away. He kept my son (and mom) calm and told us every step, of what he was about to do. We miss him so much! Our insurance changed and we can no longer see him. Anyone considering whether they want to try Dr. Metsch, I would tell them not to hesitate. Your child will be in good hands and he is easy to communicate with. He explains everything well with a calm demeanor and a little humor to keep things real. Thank you Dr. Metsch for all you did for our kiddos."
