"The place is in a nice part of town, nice building with ample parking. The MRI machine is new and the tech who did my scan was knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly (apologies as I forgot her name). I think would have given 5 stars except for some clerical issues. When I got there, I was told I'd have to pay more than $500 out of pocket. Because I was desperate for help (was dealing with this issue for more than 10 months), and had the funds on my credit card (thank Goodness!), I relented and paid. I get it that insurance companies can be hard to deal with, and often times they won't cover some/all of the costs, but this is something they really should've informed me of, before hand. What about someone who might not have had the money right there? There was ample time between setting my appointment and when I visited. Also, it was a good amount of days between when my doctor called in the MRI. There was no excuse for that. Secondly, I watched as a man who came in after me had to redo all his paperwork because the place had changed ownership. This doesn't seem good, as most data should be computerized. I know for myself (and likely for him), by the time you get an MRI, you've been dealing with a health issue for a very long time and extra things like this can have more of a negative impact than normal. Your frustrations can be higher than average! I felt that the front desk staff just didn't seem to care about these concerns, and blew it off with an empty sounding "oh we're so sorry". I normally try not to be negative but felt that this information should be shared with potential new patients. Hopefully I just caught them on an off day, and the experiences of others will be better."
