"This is a truly warm, lovely congregation that welcomes every one of God's children as they are and invites them to Christ's communion table every week. We sing from hymns and follow a traditional worship format, but the pastor always preaches contemporary messages that encourage us to be more loving, Christ-like, and God-seeking in our everyday lives. It's a lot of older white people, but they're ready to welcome you with open arms (they will offer hugs or fist bumps!) and the church is becoming more diverse in race and age as my weeks attending have become months. It's a place that makes this military spouse feel at home."
