"I’m so disgusted and boiling with anger with Dr. Wong. As I see other people are as well. My mother who has over 27 years of nursing experience as well as experience in the healthcare field. That is a very long time. She came to you in need of dire help and treatment. She was not seen by a medical doctor for three months due to her job and the time you have to wait to get health insurance. My mom has been going through a lot of cognitive function issues which are related to something medical Dr. Wong refused to fill out a paperwork saying that she has a medical issue that way her job knows and is aware and has medical documentation to prove what she saying. Dr. Wong refused to fill the paperwork for medical evidence, backing up her claim which she the doctor was aware of her medical history. Also, she also refused to give my mother medication. My mother lost her job and cannot support and provide for her family. Thanks to Dr. Wong. I do not believe she was asking you for much. Maybe the form didn’t fill pockets. This is exactly the definition of healthcare disparities for black minorities in America and abroad. If you did not want to help my mother, it would be best to say that on the initial visit. Also, have a sign stating that you are willing to refuse treatment and medical help. That would’ve been very beneficial. We drive from Monterey county to see this… Doctor. I already made a complaint with customer relations. I can’t see myself recommending my family or anyone of color, or that I care about to you. You made my mom‘s mental health worse than it was before. Thanks a lot."
"I first visited Dr. Wong as a self-pay patient when I was looking for a physician. My health history and present condition is convoluted and complicated and I was looking for a doctor who understood all the issues and prescribed the proper medications and was on top of all issues as they arose. But when I became Dr. Wong’s permanent patient all first impressions went right out the window! She was more focused on the fact that I arrived late than working on issues at hand. As time went on, I only had one actual appointment where the tables were turned and I had to wait for her. She just mentioned it briefly “this time I am late” and immediately changed the topic. During that appointment she canceled all of my diabetes treatment, prescribed 3 pills instead, one of which I still didn’t get a month later because she hadn’t filled out the prior auth. Paperwork A MONTH LATER! As a result, my A1C jumped up to over 12 points! To sum up, there were many more issues that resulted from repeated blood test. It had become clear that I needed referrals to several specialists. When I requested them through MyChart email system, she refused to do anything until the next appointment. She canceled the next two appointments bc I was a few minutes late. It got to a point where I showed up in pain and needed to see ANYONE to address all the issues. The person I saw was overwhelmed with everything that was going on, with all proverbial balls dropped which led to a number of worsened conditions. I absolutely agree with a previous review: she was absolutely rushing me through appointments, implying that she is overloaded with patients and if I was only a few minutes late she never saw me, as if I was 5 y.o. and needed to be taught a lesson. As a result of never being seen and her refusing to work with me through email (“We’ll discuss it at the next appointment”), my healthcare is in shambles and I don’t see a way out, other than to request a different physician. And I just found out that the prior auth for the medication she prescribed has been sitting on her desk for over a month, still not filled out! After two days of powerful antibiotics I am still in pain and may have to go to the ER"
"Really patient and helpful. I would recommend choosing her as a PCP"
"Dr Wong was timely, helpful, professional and pleasant. And, her office assistants were very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend her! I also cannot understand the conflicting reviews?? Finding a good dr is hard. She is good! Thanks!"
"TBH I don't understand the previous bad reviews. Dr Wong has been thoughtful and thorough. I have seen her for several years now and she has always been a great doctor. She has never rushed me or provided anything short of excellent care. She even helped me stop smoking cigarettes which no dr has ever been able to do and I have been trying for 20 years!"
