"So far, so good! I’m so glad I brought my cat Max Black here. After spending almost $1,000 at VCA and not finding out what is wrong, I bring him here, referred by my parents and he’s going to stay overnight while he’s getting better. Thank you so much for taking him as a “walk-in” and treating him so well. The staff is friendly and empathetic. Thank you!"
"Avoid this place like the plague. My neighbor brought his dog here. She wasn't eating, shaking, bloated. They did blood work said they would call Thursday or Friday. Never called. Called Saturday and told him no would could help him. He couldn't wait not longer and we had to take her to an emergency vet. She had an infection which spread to the blood and needed surgery. The emergency vet tried contacting them and they couldn't get the blood results either. Shes had surgery and is back home recuperating thanks to VCA in alhambra. It's been over a week and still no call about the blood results which would have shown infection days prior! Crooks! They just took $400 to have us waiting and gave no answers. I'm glad I don't bring my dogs here anymore and no wonder why they can't keep any techs. AVOID if you love your pets!"
"Small Animal hospital is a lower cost animal clinic. We have been going here since we adopted our dog 7 years ago. The vets here when we first started were amazing. The quality of service has gone down a bit since the pandemic and they have had quite a few different head vets over the last year. The front office staff is great and always helpful. They used to Board dogs which was a great service - I believe that stopped during the pandemic. It is affordable but sometimes appointments are not able to be made right away. All in all I would recommend for check ups/minor concerns."
"It was my first time bringing my dog to this shelter. I got there about 30 minutes before it opened to get a parking spot because its a very small parking lot. They were understanding that my dog was aggressive so they gave me a muzzle to put on him & they took him inside to give him the shots then brought him back out to my car. I loved Gladys because she was kind and understanding. Definitely coming back!"
