Dr. Francisco Pardo, MD 1855 1st Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101

"As a follow up to my prior review below…. Dr Pardo called me and chewed me out for posting a negative review. I indicated that the review was truthful and was not against him personally, he said that was irrelevant and how dare I hurt his small business. He went on to threaten to give the company I work for a negative review, even though he has no affiliation with this business. He also threatened to tell my employer about my treatment (depression and anxiety with meds). His call was to me in my place of business. I felt threatened and belittled, shame on Dr Pardo for not having more tact. Dr Pardo has been my primary care for several years now. I have always liked him, his sincerity, and how he has gotten to know with me. He approaches his visits with me and my health as a full picture. On the other hand, the communication from him and his office has been declining steadily for the last couple of years. I don’t know if it is about disorganization, or too many patients. They take days if not weeks to return calls or messages. They forget almost monthly to call in my prescription refills. I have to leave multiple messages to remind for these things that should be automatically taken care of by an MD office. The same calls are made by my pharmacy who also says there is often lack of response. Then, when refills are called in, they miss medications and/or call in the wrong dosages to the pharmacy. For these reasons, I will be switching primary care physicians. I need to know that my health and communication when needed are important to my doctors office."
