"I was never even able to get anything from them. I left messages for over 4 months. Finally saw their website and found an email. I emailed them, got a reply. Was asked for my Ph# which I gave , received no calls. Resent email, got a reply that they left messages, I received no messages and have no record of any calls from their office. and my system is working fine. I gave a different phone # got a call from a woman who is In charge of Admin. She was very unkind and disrespectful to me. She claimed to have left several messages for me Which I Know I did not get. But never offered that there was something wrong with their phones But rather offered that it must be something wrong with me or my phone. Really? Mine is a landline. When I asked how is someone supposed to get ahold of an actual human being at their office she asked me if she was going through all this and wasting her time with me. I promptly thanked her and hung up while she was yelling at me on the phone. I can clearly see that this was not the place for me. And from the other reviews here I can be thankful for her showing me what they are about and avoided what these other folks had to endure. No thank you"

"Rushed, Misleading, and Money Motivated are words I would use to describe Dr. Levin's Practice. Come here if you like rushed visits and getting surprise billed separately for 20 second "medical procedures" that the Doctor does not tell you is a medical procedure before performing. During my visit, the Doctor was present for roughly 3-5 minutes. The first thing he did when entering the room was grab what turned out to be an "endoscope" and casually glance up the tip of my nose. It was used for all of 20 seconds. He did not tell me that this was an "endoscopy" vs a routine physical exam and he didn't even perform a physical exam to determine if an endoscopy was medically necessary to diagnose my condition. He did not mention the procedure, explain the procedure, or any alternate choices I had. I believe he violated his legal and ethical obligation to obtain my explicit Informed Consent to do that procedure. He then billed me $300 extra for that 20 seconds, on top of the $200+ that was billed for this 3 minute office visit. His practice will point to a form they have you sign before going in which states that the doctor may require certain tools to help diagnose you and falsely claim this constitutes Informed consent (which it does not). If the first time you are learning a procedure was actually done was when you got the bill, they are not properly informing you. It is my opinion that this is to avoid patients denying procedures if they knew about the alternatives or costs. I have filed a complaint against this practice with the California Medical Board."

"This doctor and office were a joke. From the moment I walked in the office to the moment I left I thought I was on the tv show punked. I have never had an experience at any doctor’s office like this. Dr Levin was talking fast, zipping around the room, sitting cross cross apple sauce then he would jump up and back to sitting in fetal position while I sat there in disbelief. He also kept telling me how busy he was, scratching his head crazily, just the most bizarre behavior I have ever encountered with a doctor. He checked my ears for approximately a minute each, stuck an instrument up my nostrils and proceeded to diagnose me in less than 10 minutes, even without a scan. Nothing in the office looked clean and I fear the instruments used on me weren’t properly disinfected. After my appointment I read tons of reviews that said similar things. Don’t go to this office or doctor, there is a reason he has available appointments."

"Great experience all around: after hearing from a local urgent care facility that I probably wouldn't be able to get an appointment with an ENT for several months, Dr. Levin's office managed to get me on their schedule within a week. Dr. Levin and his staff were exceptionally kind, knowledgeable, and in good spirits. Dr. Levin has a great sense of humor, and gave a careful and thorough examination of my vocal cords and medical history (I had come in with voice issues). He and his staff went the extra mile, and I'm excited to have a great relationship with a top ENT in SLO!"
