"Only been 1 year, but each visit the staff has been friendly and knowledgeable with me and my dog. I usually leave my dog in the car for initial check-in because the reception area is fairly small and high traffic for reactive dogs. Every time I have scheduled appointments around lunchtime (12-2 ish), they have called to reschedule me earlier or later same day."
"It was a busy morning but the receptionist greeted me when I walked in with my dog. There were a couple of other appointments waiting but it was a comfortable, peaceful drop off experience at this busy hospital. We have been happy being clients here."
"Beware of this pet hospital as well as Banfield as a whole. 2nd time giving Banfield health plans a try and was left yet again highly disappointed. Dropped my dog off perfectly fine for a routine Check up and he came back with the shakes, vomiting, diarrhea etc which was then passed onto my other dog. Never took responsibility , and had to pay hundreds just for both my dogs to be seen. The plans they offer are a waste of money for the care you receive. TOTAL SCAM. Can’t wait to end both of my dogs health plan."
"As a long-time customer, we have appreciated the quality of service provided by Banfield for many years. However, the current workflow and excessive wait times have become a source of frustration and concern for us. Having scheduled appointments should ideally streamline the process and minimize wait times for both pet owners and the hospital. However, our recent visits have been characterized by significant delays, which are unfortunately proving to be quite problematic. Dropping off my dog at 9 am and waiting until 2 pm for any action to be taken is simply unacceptable. As a reasonable person, I understand that some waiting might be inevitable, and I am more than willing to accommodate a reasonable waiting period of 1 to 2 hours for my scheduled appointment. However, a five-hour wait is simply too long and leaves my dog sitting in a cage, feeling distressed, hungry, and alone. It's distressing to think that a visit that should be completed within an hour or two stretches out for an unnecessarily extended period. My primary concern is the well-being and comfort of my beloved pet during these visits. While I recognize that emergencies can occur and might require some appointment delays, I believe there should be a more effective communication system in place. If the hospital is facing such circumstances, a simple call to reschedule the appointment would be much appreciated. This way, my dog's welfare, and comfort will not be compromised by lengthy stays in the facility."
"Took my new kitten in to get his first shots and the people who worked there took great care of him and showed him lots of love and affection. He came out happy and playful! They have great plans for you, to keep your pets visits to the vet cheap and affordable. Definitely worth it!"
