"I am so grateful to have found Dr. Robert Chan. After a surgery two years previously in my home town, I suffered with numerous debilitating symptoms. I saw a doctor at Stanford that gave me advice and suggestions for things that might help. They did not! After I had a video meeting with a nurse practitioner at Stanford that basically told me to live with it and at my age it was just the way it was, I decided to change direction. My daughter was on a mission to find a doctor who would listen to me and she found Dr. Chan in Greenbrae—about 2 plus hours away from my home. We scheduled a meeting with him and he listened to me for 1.5 hours. He told me he thought he knew what the problem was and any good urologist could fix it. A couple months after this appointment I scheduled a surgical procedure with him at Marin Health Hospital. He and ALL of the doctors, nurses, and staff at this hospital were exemplary. We stayed in a hotel near the hospital over night and came home the next afternoon. This doctor has made a big difference in my everyday life and I cannot say enough about how incredibly grateful I am to have found him. He is one in a million! Thank you Dr. Chan!!!"

"Recently, I was unlucky enough to find out I was suffering from kidney stones (2 of them). Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Chan. I can't say enough about how fabulous he was to work with. He took his time to help me understand my situation calmly and clearly, and then performed my surgery to remove the two stones. He is a consummate professional (with a warm and friendly bedside manner) and an incredible surgeon.
