"Extremely disappointed in this facility. Long story short, I adopted two dogs that I found from elderly couple that kept losing them because they couldn’t care for them. They were well taken care of, and up to date on everything! They were fixed at this facility in December of 2023. The girls incision was infected but healed now, however, she’s been having spotting. When taking her to the HEMET ANIMAL HOSPITAL I was told that the incision infection is gone, however, the neutering procedure was NOT COMPLETED all the way. Hence poor girl being in “heat cycle”. Longevity wise I was informed she will eventually form or have some form of uterus cancer. To prevent this and resolve this, they mistakenly have their neutering redone, which would be around $800! Making contact and communicating the issue with a representative I was told that because it was done “personally” and because it was out of the 7 day policy, there WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE. I understand the policy, however, the mistake and error was on your part itself. Who ever “completed” the procedure should be held accountable since it was done incorrectly and now causing an animal to potentially face something that could have been Prevented if done correctly at the end of the day. I asked if there was anything the could recommend to help with funds or to point me in the right direction, they informed me because they were a government facility they were not allowed to share information of any sort. “Hi! Your dog is neutered” “Only she’s not fully neutered” “Now you have to pay again because we didn’t complete the procedure correctly THE FIRST TIME”"
"Here right now trying to do a good thing. Rescued a mom cat and her 5 kittens. Bad vibes made me feel like mom cat and babies would have been better off in the wild. The intake girls are rude. A dark hair girl with lips overfilled with botox was acting like a victim behind the glass . Acting like no one called and said we were coming before we came. I could tell she wasn't excited about helping us or saving cat live so why she work here? Check your bad attitude."
"We adopted 2 dogs from this shelter. The place was clean and the staff really seemed to really care about the animals. I want to give a shout out to Frances for being so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us find the perfect additions to our family."
"We adopted our sweet puppy here last week . The staff were incredibly kind and patient, as well as knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and even gave us tips as far as dealing with a puppy since it's been quite some time since we had one . The animals are obviously cared for here but definitely want loving homes . Adopt don't shop ❤️"
