"Dr. Cartwright is the kindest, most understanding, and competent doctor I have ever had. It is difficult to find the right match, especially if you have pre-existing conditions that complicate your life. However, to anyone who is reading this, please take this review to heart and believe me when I say that if you are considering choosing her as your doctor you are making the right decision. It is hard to express into words the positive impact that she has and the care she takes in making absolutely sure that you have the tools and medication you need. The difference between a good doctor and a bad doctor to me, is that a good doctor sees you as a person and not only a patient. She sees you as a person."

"Had her as one of my first therapists and psychiatrists, and now after years of having tried tons of therapists and myself switching careers to the mental health field, I now realize how poor of a therapist/psychiatrist Doctor Cartwright was. She was super unempathetic. Every single win I shared with her was met with "well your still failing in this area" I felt like I could never do anything right. She made me feel like she wanted perfection straight off the bat, there was no room for making errors. I remember feeling worse about myself every session I had with her. She even once told me she assumed I had an agenda because I would go non-verbal because of my autism. When I finally gave up and saw a DBT therapist, I actually started improving and feeling better about myself. I highly advise against seeing Doctor Cartwright, maybe shes changed, I don't know, but my experience with her during 2020 was awful."
