"Everyone was nice enough. I would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for one of the employees marking that my cat wasn't in "heat". She was brought in to be spayed. She was in heat. Her body language showed it clearly. Be prepared for a line extending outside the building; 8-10 minutes on average. A very popular business."
"It was great experience. They fixed my male cat. Would Highly recommend this place again."
"I decided to get my cat neutered here because every other veterinary costed so much. I got quoted 400-600 for his neuter! He is a healthy cat and has no problems. To set up appointments, you would do it on their website. I did wait about a month and a half for his appointment but I was okay with due to the high amount of people they see a day and need to get their cats neutered as well. Don’t be mad if their next appointment for a neuter is 1-2 months away! Be grateful they offer to do it professionally and a low price for many people. They offer a low income rate (less than $40,000 a year) and a regular rate for neuters(which isn’t a lot more). I had a low income rate and I paid a total of $126 for his neuter which included a microchip and a dose of revolution. Without the microchip and revolution, it would have been around $70-80 which is really good. They do require a $30 deposit at the appointment check out, and does go into your total for your final payment. You are more than welcome to do blood work and it cost around $100-120 extra but the helpful man on the phone let me know it was more for older age of cats or cats that have more medical issues. I decided not to get it. I had many questions that I need to be answered and the call center for CAMP was always open to answering them. Everyone is really nice and informative. Drop off was simple too and they let you have someone else pick them up your cat if needed, just let them know. My cat is on his 10 day post-surgery and he is doing very well. If you want more information, you can ask me a question and I can help you with what I know. If not, you can call them and select a number on their recorded phone call and choose many options they have from that are very informative. Thank you so much CAMP Clinic San Pedro."
"The staff were very professional and very kind. Arrived at 6:30am to drop off a stray for spaying and picked her up at 3:30pm. She was well taken care of and recovered nicely in my bathroom."
"I went to the San Pedro Animal Care Shelter to view a small dog for my friend. When I walked into the office, I have noticed that some dogs were staying in the office lobby. They were big dogs staying in the crates. I asked the staff why those dogs were staying in the office. Then, I found out the shelter were overcrowded with so many dogs, and they didn't have enough space to put all the dogs. After the Covid Pandemic, people were returning to work & due to the bad economic and high cost of living, people couldn't afford to keep their dogs anymore. Therefore, many people were surrendering their dog's to the shelter. When I heard that story, I felt so sad about those dogs. I couldn't understand how people could dump their dog's to the shelter. also, there were so many dogs staying in the shelter for a long time. And they were waiting to get adopted it. It was so sad about the shelter dogs. Then, I went to the kennel to see the small dog, but the dog was on foster care, so I couldn't see the dog. After that, I looked around to see other dogs, and I saw a cute husky was jumping and greeted me with a big smile. That husky looked alike he wanted to get out from the kennel. He was so friendly and sweet dog. I wanted to adopt the husky, but I already owned a small dog, and I could have only one dog in my apartment. If you want to adopt the dog, I would recommend the CAMP Clinic San Pedro Animal Shelter. ."
