"I had the pleasure of attending a class of Michelle's in San Mateo. The class was about 50 people age range 50 and above. It was a nice class until Michelle choose to pick out one of the students and imitate their "technique" which Michelle announced needed improvement. Michelle continued imitating the student and told them to step away from the group and practice by themselves. Another of her methods is to stop teaching all together when one of the students was talking during her instruction. She stopped everything, starred at the student and embarrassed the "talker" so that all would look at him. Even if I was a elementary school teacher, I would never embarrass a student like this. To me, that shows disrespect and I don't value that in an instructor no matter how many years they have been teaching. Perhaps it is time for her to re-evaluate her instruction methods."

"Michelle understands dance very well however her technique for teaching tends to be punitive. As with all instructors, there are preferred A students and then C or D Students. As a teacher myself, I like to handle all students with respect and encouragement. Michelle does not have the same technique."
