After the initial evaluation and a few sessions, speech therapy became a bright spot in my week because of how much energy and focus went into developing my son’s communication skills. I sometimes even get homework to carry over strategies at home. We moved to teletherapy for a period during the shelter-in-place orders, and that was more productive than I thought. "I’m not sure I’ll ever find the correct words to express how grateful I am to Narissa, Jason and the rest of the staff at Avid Speech. I brought my daughter to Avid speech when she was two because she would only grunt and get very upset because we were unable to find a way to communicate effectively with each other — needless to say it caused a lot of stress for our family and we needed the help.
