"Rude employee. I'm standing in line and an associate ask me how I was doing so I told him and asked how he was doing. He's my favorite guy. Then he coworker at the check out asked what I said so I told her and she says "you know I really don't want to hear about it". REALLY THEN DON'T ASK! If it weren't for my favorite guy I wouldn't go there."

"I get my 90 day prescriptions now through Walgreens per my insurance providers rules. I have had not so great experiences going into the store. When I saw I had the option to get my rx delivered to my house at no extra charge I opted for that. Fantastic service! Rx arrived quickly and great service. I will use this service now more often!"

"Horrible customer service and rude treatment! Went to pick up after receiving text. They didn’t have all my prescriptions ready and had to figure things out. The pharmacist Sonya had no customer service skills, made me wait at the window for over 20 mins without an apology or reason. So I walked away. Then they paged me when the Rx was ready, only to find more problems with the order. This time the pharmacy tech walked away from me without an apology or explanation..and left me at the window wondering what the heck was happening. By then I was already fuming as an hour had gone by. Then the pharmacist failed to show up for a consult on a new Rx. That’s it, I’m not coming back !!"

"UNACCEPTABLE. After 3 years undefeated, I finally got COVID in May 2023 and despite being vaccinated and boosted, it hit me hard. I made a telemed appointment with my doctor and was prescribed Paxlovid at 1 pm on a Wednesday. I waited an hour for the prescription to be transferred and checked in the app, where it showed up as “in progress.” Another hour later I called to check the status, and it gave me an estimated pickup time of 4:15. I went back to bed for awhile and around 4 pm I decided it would probably be a good idea to call and make sure they had the prescription ready before driving over to pick it up. After going through automated menu hell and being on hold for about 12 minutes, the pharmacist answered and informed me they were out of stock. At NO POINT would they have bothered to tell me this if I hadn’t called to follow up; it just showed as “in progress” on the app. Mind you, this is a time sensitive, potentially life saving medication…and they could not have cared less, or treated the matter with less urgency. To make matters worse, I asked the technician I spoke to to have the prescription sent to the Safeway across the street, and she insisted that the Granite Bay Walgreens had stock. I said NO, I wanted to pick it up at the Safeway, but she sent the prescription to the other Walgreens store anyway. No WAY was I going to drive an extra 20 minutes out of the way with a 103-degree fever!! Anyway, shout out to the excellent service I received at the Safeway who handled the rest of the prescription transfer for me and had it ready for pickup in record time, AND included a batch of COVID tests without me even having to ask for them. I will be dumping Walgreens for good and getting all of our family’s prescriptions at the Safeway from now on!"
