"My oldest daughter (age 7) has danced at West Coast for 4 years and my youngest (age 4) for 2 years and both absolutely love it! Dance has become their favorite hobby and it is so fun to watch them dance. The teachers are wonderful, full of positivity, encouragement and talent. The facility is well-kept with large classrooms and a dressing room for those quick after school changes. There are many different types of dance classes to choose from, which is great for those who are just getting into dance and are not sure what style of dance to go with. My oldest daughter loved the 2 summer camp classes she took and learned so much from just 2 weeks of camp - I was amazed at how much improvement I saw in her technique after those 2 camps! My youngest daughter also enrolled in a summer camp and had so much fun. "West Coast Dance Complex is a truly wonderful dance studio in the San Diego/Carmel Valley area. My daughter has taken dance classes here since 2019, and she has grown exponentially as a dancer. She began as having no dance experience, and now is a competitive dancer with this studio! As a competitive dancer, the overwhelmingly positive support my daughter receives from faculty and other students has helped build confidence not only in her dance abilities, but also as a person in all areas of life. This dance studio also has an incredibly strong and supportive ballet academy that organizes two ballet productions a year. These productions are a marvel to watch because of the talent of the young dancers and the amazing costumes and props. Finally, if you just want your young dancer to dance a couple days a week, West Coast Dance Studio has a terrific recreational dance program. For a very reasonable monthly rate, your young dancer can pick and choose any class they want to take (no minimum or maximum of classes) according to their dance level. Overall, West Coast Dance Studio offers something to every budding dancer, and I strongly encourage you to have your young dancer try a dance class or two!"

"Three years ago both my daughters showed an interest in dance. I was more than happy to add this into their schedule as a hobby. Little did I know that the incredibly talented instructors at West Coast Dance Complex would not only spark a passion for dancing within both children, they'd ignite a love for the arts as a whole. Each teacher has their own unique way in connecting with, and empowering, these young kids within the sport of dance. Each teacher blends their love for dance with kindness & compassion, yet instilling a sense of discipline and accountability. Self love, and a love for your peers, is a top priority within the culture at West Coast. Dance can be a competitive environment. A top reason that I continue to invest in this studio is that the teachers, and older more experienced students, make it a priority to instill confidence, grace, and support/compassion for the younger classes of kids.
