"I am so happy I found this office. I've lived in San Diego for 5 years and have been disappointed with a handful of vets in the area but Colony exceeds expectations. Every person I've interacted with has been friendly and knowledgable. They checked in with me pre and post appointment (I have never had an office call to make sure my dog was doing fine after their vaccines, this was above and beyond). They have good availability for appointments and they are so incredibly thorough. They noticed that both of my previous vets had missed updates on shots that my pet needed immediately. So grateful to the entire office!"

"I recently moved to LA to San Diego and are so happy we found colony vet hospital for our pup! I was very nervous as our dog has extreme anxiety both when meeting new people and going to the vet - I made the staff aware of this before and they were so incredibly patient with her & knew exactly how to interact with her. You can tell everyone there is an animal lover. They are always on time with my appointments, and have quickly diagnosed a few issues that came up recently. They always offer a couple treatment plans with lower and higher cost options, which I appreciate so we can decide how to move forward based on the cost. They also answer any questions I have not matter how many I tend to have. Within a couple days I always get a follow up from the staff to check in on my dogs treatment and make sure she is improving. I will continue to use them for all of Billie’s needs, and will be recommending them to all of my friends!"

"Good but not great vet. It never seems like they’re very thoughtful with their treatments, and other vets shake their heads when I describe my experience here. A lot of people in my Ridgeback club tell me these guys have had a so-so reputation for years."

"I would NOT recommend that clinic, and here’s why: 1. Although we always inquired about cost estimates before our appointments, more often than not we discovered that the final expenses surpassed their initial estimation, even for routine check-ups. 2. More than once, we experienced lengthy wait times when calling, and sometimes our calls were left unanswered or were not returned. 3. Their prices for medications, at least the ones we needed on a regular basis, are way above what you would find online. 4. At some point, they bluntly suggested exploring services at another clinic, which made us feel “rejected” by them."
