"I recently joined SWAMA and can confidently say it’s a five-star gym for anyone who is passionated about Muay Thai or looking for another way to get into shape! From the moment I stepped through the doors the atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly! The gym is run by a father and son duo and gives the personalized, small-scale business experience compared to the more corporate feel of a chain gym. Victor was super friendly and guided me during every step of the process and continues to give outstanding customer service. Coming in as a beginner I was concerned I would be met with judgement however I was quickly reassured that is definitely not the case here! Everyone whether instructors or fellow classmates understands what it was like to be at the beginning stages of learning and are always super friendly and willing to help with any questions. They cover everything from fundamental techniques to cardio exercises, ensuring a well-rounded and fulfilling workout. There is always an emphasis on proper form, discipline, and respect for the art which makes each session both challenging and deeply rewarding. What sets SWAMA apart is the sense of community fostered within its walls. Fellow members are friendly, supportive, and share a common dedication to self-improvement. "My son has been attending Muay Thai lessons here for a little over a month now and I have seen such an improvement in his character and confidence. Before enrolling my son at SWAMA, we struggled A LOT with defiance. He was a well behaved kid most of the time but was defiant when given instructions on chores, activities of daily living and his teachers struggled to get him to do schoolwork. It’s hard to explain how he could be behaved but defiant at the same time but he constantly experiences major life changes his whole life one after another. We tried enrolling him in soccer to see if sports would help but it didn’t. After he started Muay Thai, there was a noticeable change within just two weeks. He was more obedient, he was more respectful and aware of his peers and is even getting an award at his school now. They are so good with helping kids feel empowered while instilling respect and discipline into the kids. Best of all, THEY MAKE IT FUN.
