"A horribly run operation they never call you back or call you when your dog is ready. If they say 2-3 hours it's all day. The ladies there never call me when my dog is ready. I call and call until he is ready they don't even call my wife. I will never take my dog here again."
"Everyone there is nice. They even called a few days after our apt to check on my animals."
"Doesn't look like Banfield wants to try and resolve this so I'm taking to social media. When I was freshly moved out at 18 (I'm 22 now) I had found a kitten outside who I wasn't sure if I would keep or not. I took her to the closest location, which would be in Brea and asked them to check the kitten and just give a round of vaccines. The ladies at the desk were INSISTANT that I sign up for their health plan, and not realizing Banfield actually had a class action lawsuit recently for their scam they call "pet insurance", I signed up being young and naive. I had specifically told them just to do the services I asked for, so if I didn't end up keeping the kitten I could just pay for what I owed. Well my friend took the kitten and didn't wanna keep the plan, which was very smart. When I asked them to cancel it and give me the balance for the services I asked for they gave me a bill of 400$! That's as much as a trip to the emergency pet hospital, not a clinic. Apparently they did tons of other things I didn't ask for on the very same day I had told them to just do the vaccines and deworming. I told them I would not pay for services I didn't as for. After getting tons of letters I later called the manager to talk about what happened and he confirmed that the staff did in fact NOT ask me before doing those services when I had made it clear I only wanted the specifics. He said he was sorry and that the bill would be taken care of. Flash forward to today, I get a bill in collections for the more then 400$ bill. I call them back and they agreed to take off the services they didn't ask me for, but then said they were tripling the prices for the services I received (which only should have been about 100$) they said I still owed 300$. When I look back at my bills and how much I paid to them during that time, I actually paid them well over that much! I sent an email to the now manager, Brooke and she has not replied to me in about a week. She was also the one who said she was tripleing the prices because "That's market value" when I now know for a fact it is not. The Humane society charged me less then 100$ for everything I had asked them to do for 300$. In the end, they will try to grift you and con young people into signing up for their already proven scam. I'm surprised they haven't learned their lesson after their lawsuit, but maybe they need another one? I have a great lawyer and I've never lost a case despite being so young. You messed with the wrong girl, Banfield, and I'm not done. Take the L, you tried to scam a young girl and you already got your money, now you want more? Sick and deranged people to steal from young disabled girls. I hope you go bankrupt"
"The whole “drop off” way of doing “appointments” needs to go. It’s a broken system for the CUSTOMER and our pet!!! Might work for your staff because you don’t have to frequently check in throughout the day- however my dog’s appointment literally couldn’t have lasted more than 5 minutes - he literally was getting ONE vaccine. I dropped him off at 9:30 and couldn’t pick him up until 5:30PM. And when I would call for an ETA the chick who answered the phone was clueless- And guess what- my dog got FLEAS this day! NEVER coming here again!!!"
"I made an appointment week ago for my dog vaccines for 8/01/23 8:45am they said it will take 2 to 3 hours. I drop him at 8:15. 11:45 not ready they are waiting for vaccine vials to arrive because it was all used. Why do you make appointment if you can't make it. Staff just turn the problem to other employees that it's not her problem that vaccine ran out , what kind of business are you running Dr.Michael Shen."
