"Dr. Centore is an outstanding behavioral therapist. Extremely comforting while also ready to push you out of your comfort zone, and towards your goals. If chronic pain has invaded your life in any shape or form, I'd highly recommend you give her a call."
"Dr.Linda Centore is an aggressive, incompetent, most unethical pretend Psychologist/Psychiatrist at the dental department (knows nothing about dentistry) at UCSF. My UCSF experience is long and sad. UCSF affiliated Oral Surgeon Dr.Scott Podlesh placed a dental implant to replace my tooth #30 which had a failed root canal and was pulled. I had excruciating pain right away after Dr. Scott Podlesh placed my dental implant. Dr.Podlesh referred me to UCSF. The UCSF OS's, and dentists I was seen by claimed there was nothing wrong with the dental implant that was placed. I wrote several emails to Dr.Centore that the pain was excruciating and I wanted the dental implant removed. Dr.Centore aggressively denied that the dental implant needed to be removed. And even told my family and friends who drove me to UCSF (my pain was to excruciating for me to be able to drive long distance) that nothing was wrong in medical/dental terms and that I was "imagining" my pain. My pain kept getting progressively worse over the years. Finally, this year, 2017. I was referred to another medical institution. I was send for a MRI. The MRI results showed several issues that the dental implant placement surgery had caused. Including problems with my Trigeminal Nerve branche(s). I ended up needing a cranial surgery called Microvascular Decompression and the dental implant removed. I do not know how Dr.Centore got her PHD. Because Dr.Centore is absolutely clueless about serious dental/medical issues a dental implant can cause. Involving an artery, blood vessels, Trigeminal nerve branches, gum disease, and gum recession. I am not writing this review for myself. As I can not undo my wasted years and money having made the grave mistake of seeking care at UCSF during the past several years. But hope my review helps other patients. For anyone who (God forbid) incurs horrific, painful problems due to a dental implant surgery/placement. I strongly recommend Stanford. Please avoid UCSF. Because their doctors will not be truthful if the dental implant caused lifelong neurological issues for a patient. I know other former patients of UCSF who sustained serious lifelong neurological injuries from a dental implant and are on ssdi."
