"This Company does not honor its obligations.A year ago I insured a phone that had a small edge defect. It has just now incurred a NEW defect ELSEWHERE on the screen. Gina says this is a pre-existing defect and refuses to honor thus VALID claim. The new big defect is shown in photos provided AKKO. They are non responsive."

"I had their service for about two years, with the faint hope my electronics were covered. I only had 3 claims attempts, and they slimed their way out of each one. With the latest it was a PlayStation 5 power supply failing. I canceled their service - They had just charged me the annual fee in January and I raised hell until they finally returned me a pro-rated reduced chunk of it. They offer no phone service any more for claims and their chat people are slow to respond. There website doesn’t work well and many sections are dead end / incompletes. If Americans rioted with the purpose of burning insurance companies like these to the ground I’d happily participate."

"I have used Akko for my phone insurance f for the last 2 or 3 years and it's been great. The key with them is to follow the instructions to the t and upload the documents that they ask you. This reimbursement type of insurance is not for everyone but if you know the rules and do as they say you'll be happy with you get your money back after the deductible. The payment was swift after I uploaded the receipt from the shop."

"Signed up for two protection plans for my iPhones. Process was smooth and was able to sign up even though apple warranty expired. Recently had a broken screen on one of the phones. Claims process was easy online. Communication was excellent as I generally got a response with hours to 1 day. Claim was approved within a day as well, got the phone fixed next day and reimbursed one day after that. Smooth process. Glad to have a warranty with a reputable company! Highly recommend."
