"I DO NOT RECOMMEND MARY I went to Mary last year for reunification therapy with my son and his estranged father. It was one of the worst experiences for myself, my husband, and my son. She should not be in this profession for multiple reasons, but one of them is because she takes sides, and does not listen to the concerns of the parents who have full physical custody of the child, and knows the child best interest. She believed the pity lies my ex husband told her (which we warned her he does it), and she believed his lies and allowed him to be late to the court mandated therapy. My son is scarred from his time with Mary and his bio father last year. He is going to need therapy because of it. Funny...he is going to need therapy because of his therapy sessions with Mary...a therapist. Ironic. A very important example that happened to me with the therapy sessions with Mary was that my son did not want to go to them. So he screamed and cried his eyes out. It broke my heart, and I sneaked a video of his episode, and when I brought out my phone to show Mary the traumatic video she said, "I don't need to see it. I believe you." If she would have saw that video, she would have seen my sons pain and maybe recommend that the therapy sessions were not in his best interest. My ex husband and Mary would talk after the sessions. We went for my now husband to adopt my son since that is what my son wanted. When we told my ex husband, he said that he was going to have Mary speak on his behalf in court since they talked about it when they were speaking privately. Which, therapists are not supposed to speak on behalf of someone in court. Just about their experiences with that child in their therapy sessions. Thankfully the adoption went through and my son is so happy. I would 100% recommend to not go with Mary because she will blindside you and make you think that she will be there for you, and then changes her mind and screws your over."

"Having to go back and forth on missing paid funds for my wife's counseling that were paid which I've never witnessed. Mary required a no show fee while my wife was in the hospital and unable to call and cancel the appointment (she had no ability to call, etc!)- I was unable to cancel due to I only had financial releases on file. In mailings, she grossly misspelled my name and my wife (a patient - you should know at a minimum your patient's names!) and then added a date where we have receipts and proof of pulling the money out for therapy with bank related records. Ended up having to seek another source for therapy for my family member due to her canceling appointments in preference for patients (with insurance I guess?), refusing to allow cancellations due to mental health related acute care. What should have been a therapeutic experience turned into a nightmare."
