"I procured Ce Eschelman's services from February 2021 to April 2021. While I believe she is a very nice person, her expertise left much to be desired for me personally. I came to her to work on attachment challenges and she began counseling me without providing any real assessments, which I thought was odd. I was also yearning to build skillsets to help me manage some difficult emotions in relationships and cannot say I took away much in the short time we worked together. Most disappointingly, she claimed to have expertise in dealing with racial trauma, and I really didn't think her approach was appropriate. She spent much of the sessions centering herself by talking about her own class issues growing up. I don't believe white therapists are equipped to help clients of color deal with racial trauma, and that was certainly the case for her."
