"I didn't complete what I wanted to get done. According to their website, you have to sign-up for a policy through a private insurance company rather than buy one directly on-line from the authority itself."

"I'm going to preface this with the fact that I have not applied for this insurance nor do I ever plan to. I was sent a letter in the mail with a letterhead tricking me into believing it was sent by my insurance company. However there was no additional information attached other than a pamphlet for earthquake insurance. I refuse to believe that any company that engages in subversive marketing tactics and tricking potential customers is legitimate. And I bet you any five-star reviews are just fake accounts to boost review average. And as a side note to anyone reading this, any actual legit company is not going to tell you that they cannot be contacted and that you have to go through an outside agency."

"This is unbelievable, I was on the phone listening to music for almost 2 hours to buy my earthquake policy. They had the option buy online after the free estimate. but there is no option to go ahead and buy the policy. Looks like it is removed and need to call this office which has been a nightmare last 3-4 days."

"I realize that CEA does not deal directly with the public...but even getting a payment made through my insurance carrier is almost always painful. Paying my AAA regular insurance is no problem. Paying a CEA bill through AAA is hard. Sorry guys...you need to stop pointing the finger at the carriers and make it easier for people to pay their bill."

"If I could give them a half I would have. Horrible non-functioning web site. None of the buttons would allow me to try different deductibles or any other variables. I read all the other Google reviews and thought perhaps with their huge TV advertising budget currently running, the posts were outdated. No siree! Pathetic waste of tax payers money."
