"I tried a few schools when my son became interested in Martial Arts. I was a very dedicated student myself before the school i was attending ceased to exist. I have high expectations because of my own experience but the schools my son and i looked at did not feel right for us. Thankfully my son had a birthday party to attend for a school friend at CCAMA. At first I thought how weird to have a birthday party at a martial arts school. But it actually was an excellent idea. It was fun for the kids and they all got to do really cool things plus get a mini lesson. After seeing how Mr B and Mr Martin had worked with the kids it was a no brainer when they offered everyone a 2 week trial for everyone who attended. I had spoken to both instructors at length about their methods and teaching style and they were exactly what I was looking for in a school During the trial after the first class i was actually already sold on the school. However because they are not at all pushy they recommend you ride out the 2 week trial to make sure it is something you are really ready to commit to and that the school is a good fit and that you are a good fit for them as well. After the trial i signed my son up. They definitely far exceeded expectations. I really love the methods of instruction, the attention given to everyone, the positive, welcoming and friendly environment, clean studio and the fact that they teach them how to develop and implement important life skills. I have seen the additional positive changes in my child in the 3 months we have been attending. My son is definitely excelling as a student and in every day life. They are truly amazing with children If you have a child who has a lot of energy, has trouble listening, following instructions or staying focused or on task and maybe doesn't easily make friends give this a try. The children gain a healthy self esteem, sense discipline, integrity and pride in themselves. All while having a good time. In the short time we have been here I have seen them work wonders with many children. I can say all the young people attending this school are the most respectful well mannered kids and sadly, these days most kids just don't have have that skill set. We are pleased to have found a place that feels like home. I can't recommend this school and all of their team that make it all possible highly enough."

"Cal Coast Martial Arts is amazing. If you are looking for a studio who is family orientated but will push your kids to be stronger, faster and smarter, this is the place to be. Mrs. Killan, Mr. B, Mr. Martin and Mr. Arabian are all amazing. The staff really makes the studio amazing. We have been at this studio for 4 years and we wouldn't have it any other way.
