"Cathy Himlin was my girl's "therapist" but it only took several sessions until my daughter expressed strange discomfort seeing Cathy. She probed, belittled, re-traumatized my daughter. Dr Himlin is incompetent, does not know what she is doing. She needs to STOP hurting these kids that come to her building. Keep your children away from this place. My daughter now refuses to see ANY therapist. I am devastated."

"horrible service 100% against fathers. this organization is corrupt and forced a large divide between my daughter and I. the self proclaimed therapists have Zero concept of reality they do not listen to reason logic or biology. The result of my experience with this organization made me seek counseling just to ensure that I wasn't crazy. Instead of education or course correcting minors heading down roads they know nothing about. this organization seeks to demonize and alienate fathers who Genuinely care and know enough about life to be able to see what is about to happen. they have no quams about painting fathers as the bad guys while using phrases such as "Toxic Masculinity", never for once paying mind to the fathers concerns. The entire team is a part of this new system where young impressionable children can make life altering decisions about gender and if a parent steps in then the parent is wrong. bewildering to me to say the very least Why must the Family court system insist on Father being the problem? Fathers, if family court sends you here for any reason just know, you have already lost. it has been 2 years and again the only thing this organization has done id drive a deeper wedge I love my daughter to my very core and i have only strived to protect her and ensure the best possible life for her regardless of her mothers attempts to manipulate and alienate but my voice has been snuffed out because this organization would rather play it safe and side with mom then go out on a limb and stand up for fathers that are grossly misunderstood. there is a reason why male suicide is at an all time high and this organization is a contributing factor"

"I opened a custody case in 2020 to support my daughter who was in an abusive situation with her father. Family court issued conjoint therapy and we chose Cathy Himlin from family connections therapy. Hiring Cathy Himlin was the worst decision, as the therapy sessions caused my 15 year old severe stress, and Cathy charged excessive fees demanding to play a role in court that wasn't needed. My daughter had several individual sessions with Cathy, intending to eventually have conjoint sessions with her father which never happened. Cathy was bias to my daughters father and would try to play us against each other during my daughters sessions. Cathy would discount what my daughter would say, talk down to her like she was a small child, and manipulate the conversation to try to make my daughter believe that the trauma she had gone through with her father was exaggerated. When both parties agreed that Cathy did not need to be involved in the court, and was only needed for conjoint therapy, Cathy insisted the excessive retainer fee needed to be paid and she would only continue if we signed agreements for her to be a part of the court hearing. The judge wrote her a letter reiterating that she was not needed for court services and Cathy Himlin dropped us, refusing to proceed. She cost us thousands of dollars in fees, wasted our time, and created problems and no resolution. I highly suggest finding a therapist that has intentions to help families heal, instead of creating further division. Cathy Himlin is an awful therapist and will not have your child's best interest."
