"They billed me for an appointment in Chula Vista that they had messed up. I had during covid, a phone appt. I booked it as a phone appt. They never called. Then they bill me for a missed office appt! I never had an office appt! Their scheduler/ receptionist screwed that all up!!! They billed me for THEIR mistake!!! Therapists and psychiatrists are top notch. Receptionists however are bottom of the barrel! Their accounting people are mindless drones who refuse to care or even do their job to straighten out their billing! Their accounting is so messed up I highly advise you to not bother with at least that office...try a different one. The accounting office will be the same but you might get a receptionist who knows how to schedule but don't count on it!"

"My NP has been very helpful with my needs and she is a very good listener but, what I really hate is the horrible attitude of the front desk personnel. If they are so unhappy with their job, go stay home ir look for something else. We people that go there are looking/asking for help on personal issues we may have. We don’t have the time neither the energy to be dealing with their bad customer service. PCSD needs to find personnel with the capacity and heart to deal with people with issues. At the end our payment us paying their salary too."

"This office is wayyy better than the La Mesa location. The physician was cordial with my mom. The NP took the time to really listen to my mom and work with her on medication adjustments. She was not rushed. She was treated like a human-being. The front desk staff was kind and cordial with us as well"

"My doctor is the best and she is the only reason I put up with is BS. Their billing department is super aggressive and beyond rude. You have to do all the legwork if there is any question about your coverage or a bill so BEWARE. The WILL cancel your appointment without telling your doctor. Unless you absolutely love your doctor avoid them like the plague. The last thing you want is this hot mess to deal with when you’re trying to heal!!"

"I want to make this review as critical as possible because I do have a positive outlook on this organization. In terms of therapist, the medical professionals I've encountered here have been incredible and life changing towards periods of bad mental health episodes. My critique is more towards the administrative/clerical staff. For one, they aren't too bad from my own personal experience in person getting the job done but I will say there is no sense of care or engaging welcoming attitudes when dealing with certain patients. I feel like it is already a big move for people to seek mental health care and the clerical professionals are the first people we encounter entering a psych clinic so a much more positive and welcoming demeanor might be first. My biggest issue with this organization is their phone etiquette skills. I have had moments where it took me a week to schedule a appointment because the phone was always on hold and/or no one picked up during business hours. I feel like the clerical team needs a bit of a refresher and reminder of the types of individuals that come into their business and how to properly greet and coordinate appointments sometimes."
