"I've been here for myself and my child. The office is dated and smells bad. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and patient. The PT and assistants didn't listen well, passed you around to each other, almost never seeing the same person twice. They didn't focus on what was said or limits of injuries. The things they wanted my child to do did nothing to help the issue we were there for. For myself they weren't willing to have me push myself where I know I can, and instead tried to have me go past limits on things I said I physically was not and to do, causing more injury. After completing the assigned weeks of treatment for both of us there was no improvement. Waste of time and money."
"My whole physical therapy experience was wonderful thanks to Nina, Liam, & Maribel at West Coast Spine in Riverside on Magnolia. I can't emphasize enough how much they helped me in my recovery process. Liam and Nina answered all my questions & addressed my concerns. After being consistent with my home excercises & pt sessions, I felt major progress in my knee pain within the first week. All the home excercises were helpful and explained thoroughly by Nina and Liam. One time, I accidentally went to my appt. 4 days early, and they squeezed me in that same day. During the 6 weeks, they were very patient and empathic. The front desk receptionist, Maribel, remembers every patients' names, greets them, and always wishes them a great day as they leave. Despite having alot to manage, she made sure I was always taken care of. It helped me keep motivated to heal during these tough times in the world. Thank you for having this place open during a pandemic. It was a positive healing environment and experience. They show how much they care for & appreciate their patients. I cried the last day because of how much I'll heavily miss their client appreciation. Definitely recommend!"
"I went to West Coast Spine for a lingering neck injury. During my two months of visits, I was handed off back and forth between different PTs and assistants, who were too busy and working with multiple patients at the same time. This type of environment might work for some people and some injuries, but it didn't work for me. My injury persisted, and on my last visit they had nothing constructive or useful to tell me. Within two weeks I had re-aggravated the injury, and I switched to a different physical therapist, which has been more successful. If I have anything positive to say it's that the staff is very nice, especially the front office."
"Although they're busy, most of the PT staff spend a good amount of time with their patients. You've gotta go in with the "going to work" attitude so you can accomplish your goals. Many who go there think the therapists should be able to get you to 100% alone but you gotta do it yourself. Therapists are only the guides to help you reach your goal and they all have been helpful with various injuries and treatments I've had there. Remember, "going to work" is the key..."
