She was the least empathetic or helpful person for someone who is in the line of serving vulnerable people. Sessions felt more like interrogations and I always left feeling more judgement and shame than I began with. It took me a long time to trust another person in this field because of her, but now I realize with a new professional, what good therapists are supposed to be like, instead of condescending and demeaning.
